Interesting picture with strong composition. Leading lines on the diagonal take us through the image holding our interest right through the foreground to the distance almost in the footsteps of the walker. The lighting is harsh, moody, taken shortly after sunrise, ‘contre-jour’ so challenging to capture, and we can see burn out in the top right. If that lighting could be better controlled it would make a good image gr

The first thing I notice is the low warm light. The strong diagonal leads the eye, and the barge prevents the river from dominating open space.
