Another well captured shot of this bank vole, looking cute and posed, which it isn't because they move so quickly. The vole is enjoying it's camouflage against the wood although it does make it difficult to see in detail. I wonder what would happen if the contrast was increased slightly.

These critters move fast, it's very difficult to catch them at all and it looks like this guy is looking right at the camera. Anticipating their movements is like picking the winning numbers on the lottery, nice job!
