Today we have record numbers of members, all enthusiasts for photography, with many and varied photography interests, age groups and levels of experience. Our weekly programme, which includes lectures and presentation from top flight photographers, has been exceptional for many years and long may that continue. Also in the Programme are members nights, competition nights and more – truly something for everyone. Our other activities include numerous exhibitions, including our Annual Exhibition in Durham Cathedral. We have a practical digital image processing night most months and frequent ‘Assignment’ organised photography outings. As well, there are many informal trips organised with fellow members to popular destinations and events. We have strong links to local institutions and charities, providing photography support and unrivalled experience for members.
