Derby City Photographic Club is for everyone – from the complete beginner to the professional photographer. We have a weekly programme with a wide diversity of excellent speakers, covering a wide range of photographic interests from landscape, nature, portraits through to sports photography and travel. We also hold monthly competitions for members, usually with both a theme and an open competition. We are a friendly club, and the more experienced members are always happy to advise those with less experience; in addition to which we often hold workshops on various more technical aspects of photography, and photo walks whereby advice can be given. And of course, if this is something you enjoy, we also hold an annual weekend away – often somewhere like the Lake District of Yorkshire Dales, for two days of uninterrupted photography (and socialising with like minded photographers!)
