Bolsover Camera Club

A small group of keen photographers, we meet every Friday - September until late May. Our evenings embrace competitions, workshops, studio evenings and internal lectures. Guest speakers talk about their photographic techniques & experiences, and members receive constructive criticism of their own work. Bolsover Camera Club members range from very experienced workers in colour and black and white conventional photography, to enthusiastic beginners and we currently have around 35 members. In keeping with other clubs, some members exhibit traditional darkroom images, whilst other members have changed to computer enhanced digital methods. Digital workers are well represented within the group. The club participates in photographic competitions, and exhibitions both locally and nationally. We are very active in knock out competitions and participate in the annual NEMPF club slide championship.
