Sidmouth and District Photographic Club

Sidmouth Photographic Club held its first meeting on October 28th 1937. The venue has changed over the years, since 1998 the Club had been meeting at The Darlington Room, Abbeyfield Court, from 2013 at Kennaway House, Coburg Terrace, Sidmouth and now from 2016 the Club meets at All Saints Church Hall, All Saints Road, Sidmouth, Devon EX10 8ES. The season's programme consists of a combination of visiting speakers, Prints and Digitally Projected image competitions and a variety of in-house tutorials. The club holds five internal competitions spread evenly through the season and in each competition members can submit prints and /or projected digital images (see competition rules). Independent judges comment on the work and give their marks. The marks are aggregated through the season, resulting in an end of season print champion and PDI champion.
