The aim of the club has always been to encourage its members, to enjoy their hobby in all its aspects without sectional interests taking any form of preference, thus enabling all members to obtain more fun from their photography. The club has a varied and interesting programme which includes subjects of interest to all members whether they work with prints or digital images. This programme includes visiting speakers who give talks on various subjects and practical evenings, providing members with the opportunity to improve their skills. In addition, we hold regular assessments of members’ work and trophy competitions in various topics – these are assessed by external judges. We also enter into the annual league competition with other clubs in the Southern Region.
