The core of our programme is a series of talks by outside speakers, covering diverse topics such as photojournalism, the art of photography, urban/street photography, and travel photography. We also hold regular competitions, judged by external specialists. These give members a chance to show their work, and have it assessed. Several HPS members are highly expert in digital photography, and we hold regular talks on digital techniques using our own digital projector.
