Wellington and District Camera Club

Wellington and District Camera Club is a well-established club with around 45 members. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30pm in the upstairs lecture theatre in the New Science Block, Wellington School, from September to April. At meetings we have in-house competitions, guest speakers from the photographic world, practical photography sessions, travelling exhibitions, talks from our own members and battles with local camera clubs. There are also events during the summer, including trips to places with photographic potential. We have meetings with other local camera clubs and participate in various events in and around our town. While we take our photography seriously, we never forget that it should also be fun and we pride ourselves on our friendly and informal atmosphere. New members always welcome.
