The Dumfries Camera Club gives a warm welcome to all levels of photographer, from beginner to international award winner. Competitions are run throughout the year and speakers, both national and local, visit the club to lecture and give presentations on various aspects of photography. The Dumfries Camera Club is one of the most successful amateur photographic clubs in Scotland and is consistently in the top 5 in the UK. We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF). In addition because of our close liaison with many of the clubs in the North of England, from whom we obtain some of our competition judges and lecturers, we are also members of the Northern Counties Federation (NCPF).
