Nairn Camera Club
http://www.nairncameraclub.co.uk ESTABLISHED: 1992
Nairn Camera Club was set up in 1992 by a group of motivated amateur photographers keen to share their experiences and exchange notes on their favorite pastime. With the advent of digital photography the club became more popular and now caters for anybody over the age of 14 with an interest in photography covering all skill levels from compact and phone cameras to pro cameras (the club has a growing number of ladies joining now about 25% of the membership). We hold our meetings in the Nairn Community Centre on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm between September and April the program covers a huge diversity of subjects from talks by professional photographers to members travelogues and tuition sessions covering both software editing and photographic techniques.
